January 13, 2008,
from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Nutter Center, WSU
Forty-eight teams representing some of the best and brightest students
from across the state will compete at the FIRST LEGO League of Ohio
State Championship Tournament. The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
Educational Outreach Office co-sponsors the annual event which brings
together 9 to 14 year-olds to demonstrate their engineering and
problem-solving skills, critical thinking, teamwork, sportsmanship, and
sense of community.
This is actually a two-day event starting on the 12th. The judging on the 12th is not open to the public, but the robot competitions on the 13th are.
